Blues Brothers Wayfarer Dark Black Sun Glasses (More Colors)
Customer Reviews
High Quality, Low Price
For the price, I was amazed at the quality of these sunglasses. Durable spring hinges, glass lenses, high polish. They arrived well packaged and on time.
The lenses aren't terribly dark. They provide ample protection from glare, but they won't make your eyes completely invisible to others.
Also of note: these sunglasses are the "Large" size Wayfarers (lenses are 54mm across), so they are slightly bigger than the "Medium" (50mm) size which is considered standard. They are also about 5mm taller.
Good quality for the price
These glasses are very good quality for being so cheap. I ordered the black and the leopard pairs and like them both very much.
One word of warning though: Unless the seller has changed something very recently, the different colors are not the same size. The black pair is precisely what I was expecting when I ordered them. The larger lens (height)is what I was looking for. The leopard pair, however, has a shorter lens and fits the typically medium size range. I noticed some reviews mention the springed hinges too. The black ones do not have those, while the leopard ones do.
I actually kind of like the leopard ones more, though they were not what I was expecting and I would not have ordered them at the time if I knew that they were smaller.
Despite the long wait due to a screw up on the seller's part, and despite getting two different sizes of glasses that were supposed to be the same, I am pleased with what I received.
P.S.: I'm not trying to be nit-picky about the whole size difference thing, I just hope that my review offers any potential buyers an idea of what they are getting.
